Originally from Oregon, I enlisted in the United States Navy in 1979. Other than a nineteen month period where I was in the reserves, I spent the next 39 years on active duty. I was honored to earn a commission as a Naval Officer in 1990. I finally put myself out to pasture September 1, 2018 and am now officially retired. Midori and I are blessed with three amazing kids and one very patient son-in-law (patient with me that is). Oh and we also have the two most beautiful grandkids in the entire universe. We enjoyed our 35th anniversary in February (Valentine’s Day…duh)
We headed to Bali in July 2018 (my last two months on active duty were spent using the leave I had saved) and we are living a life of semi-adventure, making new friends, seeing new things and writing the next chapter of our lives. The blogs speak for themselves….let’s see what direction they take. I love taking pictures so the menu on the top (Bali, Singapore, Japan, USA, Cityscapes, Prague) has some of the photos taken in the places we have been. Thanks for checking in.
