Singapore

In January 2019 we spent a week in Singapore reconnecting with friends and, as always in Singapore, enjoying amazing food.

Merlion Park just after sunset
Festive Chinatown streets, Singapore
The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, Singapore
The Singapore skyline under the watchful eye of some amazing skatepark art
This poor cow seems to be distressed.  I don’t blame her
The old Supreme Court (on the left) and the old City Hall (on the right) now transformed into the National Gallery, Singapore with the new Supreme Court Building (the large disc) peeking over the top
The Singapore skyline at sunrise
The Merlion and his constant vigil over Marina Bay and the Marina Bay Sands
Fanciest garbage truck I have ever seen

In September 2018 we had the opportunity to spend a week in Singapore to see friends and eat way too much food.  Here are some photos from the trip.

Midori with our Singapore family, Sarah and Sue at Gardens by the Bay.
Beautiful sunflower displays at the Flower Dome, Gardens by the Bay.
Incredible wood carving in the Cloud Forest, Gardens by the Bay
The vibrant scene on Haji Lane near Arab Street
Sculpture art near Arab Street.  I cannot tell you what it means!
Parkview Square, aka “The Gotham Building”

Sculpture art in front of Parkview Square.

The Sultan Mosque (Masjid Sultan) originally built in 1824 and rebuilt in 1932
